Eye Floaters (clinical Opthalmology)

 Have you heard about eye Floaters?

Clinical Opthalmology|Optometry

When you look at the sky and you see maybe threadlike images,or worms or spots in form of shadows they're called floaters. Floaters usually appear as we age and in many cases, they're harmless

Reasons why we have Floaters;

In the eyes,we have gel like fluid called vitreous or vitreous humor, with the passage of the vitreous humor starts to form strands,and these strands form a shadow on the retina, leading to Floaters.

But in some cases, Floaters maybe part of a problem with the eye like an infection or an injury..

If you notice that these floaters appear suddenly or you suddenly notice a dark shadow, almost like a curtain or blurred area in your vision that was not there before. Please go see your doctor (opthalmologist, optometrist) because most likely it points to something that is not normal...

So next time you see Floaters,you know where they're from

Thank you..

Yeah. I have noticed this. Especially after looking at light bulb for a long time. Then after looking away I notice shadows of different colors.

But beneath the surface of this admiration lies a growing crisis: the rising use of skin-bleaching creams, especially among young people trying to fit into an idealized image of beauty. In the heart of Calabar, where culture and nature coexist in vibrant harmony, a silent health concern is spreading, masked by radiant complexions and glowing Instagram photos. The issue? Skin bleaching. What Is Skin Bleaching? Skin bleaching—also known as skin lightening or whitening—is the use of chemical substances to lighten the skin tone by reducing melanin concentration.
